Making blinkies using MSPaint

1. Using your mouse pull the blocks to 'Building Space' in the Blinkie Maker

2. continue doing this until you have enough blocks for your blinkie

3. Now pull letters into the blocks the same way as you did the blocks

4. Make several blinkie rows, you can change the colors of the blocks and letters,
you'll need a row for each frame in your animation, for example,
if you make a blinkie with 5 blocks and letters,
you'll have to make 5 rows in the building space.

5. When you are satified, hit  'Prt Scr' (next to F12)
a image of your screen will be captured

6. Then open MSPaint and choose:

7. Then you'll see your ScreenPrint

8. Now using the Selection Tool:

9 . Select your blinkie by dragging your mouse around it

9. Then Edit --> Cut

10. Then New --> Paste
and asked if you'd like to save, answer No

11. Now you'll only see your Blinkie row instead of the entire screenprint

12. Now you'll need to resize your Blinkie row, use the Magnifer to get a better view,
then View --> Zoom --> Show Grid,
it'll help you to be able to see the exact size and make all your Blinkie rows
excactly the same size, this is very important to avoid your Blinkie animation
to running with images "jumping about"

13. Now you are able to see the grid.

If your Blinkie contains any white you'll need to add a different background color
so that later on you'll be able to make your image tansperant.

Choose the Flood Fill Tool and choose a color not found in your blinkie

14. When you've selected a color, click with the Flood Fill Tool on the white background to change it's color

15. Once again, Selection Tool, placing your mouse in the lower right corner and then moving the mouse
up to the left upper corner so that your image gets marked as the picture below shows an example of.

It is important that you get as close to your Blinkie row as posibble and for the rest of your Blinkie rows
to be the exact samme size as the first one

16. Then Edit --> Cut

17. Then Edit --> Paste

18. By choosing Image --> Attributes you are able to see the finish size for your Blinkie row.
Remember all your finished Blinkie row pictures must have the same size
and be placed at the same place in every image.

( Sorry but couldn't get hold of an english Screenshot )

19.Save your Blinkie row as a bitmap file and give it a name
Do the same with the rest of your Blinkie rows, provide a new name for each of them
so you'll be able to tell them apart.
